If one is not impartial, they are then partial. Partial is simply another way of saying biased or having prejudice.
In order to attain freedom, both within ourselves as well as in the external world, the greater the degree of impartiality, the greater the degree of freedom. We expect our justice system, doctors, police, and school teachers, as well as many others to be impartial. And if they are unable to be impartial, we identify this as a flaw, both of the individual as well as in the system.
But, what of our expectations for ourselves? Individual freedom and even happiness itself is dependent on our degree of impartial ability. Impartiality though, is not innate. It is a learned behavior however, before learning, must come comprehension and appreciation.
The author strives within these pages to help the reader to accomplish just that. If you desire greater inner peace and happiness as well as the ability to contribute to the betterment of society and help to alleviate dissension, please read on. For freedom awaits within.
